COVIDSafe update
Over the past few weeks, we have seen some clubs return to calisthenics classes, enjoying the opportunity to reconnect in person. We are excited to see our community getting back to what they love most, in a COVIDSafe way.
At the same time, we have been busily planning and preparing for COVIDSafe competitions and classes in 2021. As the governing body of calisthenics in Victoria, our team has been working closely with key stakeholder groups, as well as reviewing all information provided by the State Government, to assess how COVID-19 will impact our competitions and classes next year.
We will provide clubs and coaches with an outline of our COVIDSafe competition strategy in mid-December via forums. This information will be provided to the greater community before the end of the year, with more to come in early 2021.
The strategy will address what competitions look like in 2021, the financial impact of the season on clubs and members, and potential opportunities and ideas for our community. We know that our cali year will look different, but we are committed to ensuring that our community enjoys performance opportunities that are safe, fun and continue to build confident performers both on and off the stage.
